Beginner Botox / Filler Training & Certification
Get ready for extensive hands-on training with all fillers and toxins from the major manufacturers – Galderma, Merz, Allergan, Prollenium, Versa, and Newtox. This training provides a unique opportunity to learn all there is to know about the products, become certified in injectables, network with other injectors, and generate innovative ideas in the field of aesthetic medicine.
The Agenda and Topics of discussion will include:
Day 1: Botox
Through this training, you will learn to identify the best candidates for Botox, explain patient benefits thoroughly, and discuss potential issues with long-term use. You’ll also gain an understanding of the aesthetic consultation process and be able increase patient awareness and enhanced patient care in relation to the injection procedure.
You’ll also learn to apply general accepted standards of care for the administration of the botulinum toxin for aesthetic purposes with concentrations in the following facial zones:
- Upper Face – Worry Lines (Glabellar Complex), Forehead Traverse Rhytids, Lateral Canthal Rhytids (Crows Feet), and Lateral Eyebrow Shaping.
- Lower Face – Excessive Gingival Displays (Gummy Smile), Lip Flip, Vertical Lip Rhytids, and Bunny Lines.
Furthermore, you’ll practice aesthetic botulinum toxins injections competently, safely, and effectively. Each attendee can expect to gain a full understanding of the potential for adverse results and learn how to avoid any risks or complications.
You’ll also obtain a thorough understanding of basic facial anatomy associated with injections as well as the proper course of action to explain likely outcomes for patients. Included within the informative presentation are product characteristics, physician vs. patient preference, managing realistic expectations, post-procedure instructions, follow-up, and managing possible complications.
Day 2: Filler
As with Day 1 training, we’ll teach you to identify the best candidates for the fillers and how to explain patient benefits and potential issues, as well as pre- and post-procedure care.
We’ll explain the aesthetic consultation process and equip you to increase patient awareness and enhanced patient care in relation to injection of fillers. You’ll learn very quickly how a good consultation is the key to patient satisfaction and future business success.
We’ll apply general accepted standards of care for filler injections for aesthetic purposes, including concentration on these areas of the face:
- Mid-Face – Augmentation and Contouring.
- Lower Face – Marionette Lines, Nasal Labial Folds, and Laugh lines.
- Lips – Framing and creating the perfect pout.
You’ll learn to practice specific injection procedures with various fillers competently, safely, and effectively. Each attendee will gain a full understanding of possible adverse results and how to avoid any risks and complications.
You’ll also gain an in-depth understanding of the basic facial anatomy associated with filler injections as well as the rheology and most probable outcomes for your patients. Included within the thorough presentation are product characteristics, managing realistic expectations, physician vs. patient preference, and post-procedure instructions, best follow-up practices, and managing potential complications.

About the trainers:
Erika Barry, NP-C, MSN, serves as an international trainer for Merz, Allergan, and Galderma, where she’s also recognized as an expert faculty. In addition, Erika also runs her own private training company. She’s trained top doctors, NP’s, PA’s and RN’s, both within the U.S. and abroad.
Hania Khorshidi, NP-BC, MSN, is the recipient of injector awards from Allergan and Galderma, as well as serving as a Key Opinion Leader for Merz and Mint PDO. Hania also owns and operates Moksha Medical Aesthetics, as well as an aesthetic training school, My Haus of Beauty. She serves as a national trainer for Merz Aesthetics and conducts private trainings throughout the U.S. and Canada.
